The Fairy Knowe Hotel, WILDERNESS

Included in your entry, is a single or sharing hotel room, Riverside or In-house. Accommodation for Friday and Saturday nights.

The Fairy Knowe Hotel, affectionately referred to as ‘the grand dame’ of Wilderness, has been welcoming guests since 1924. This landmark hotel was renovated in 2021 and is looking gracious and glorious once again!

A 20-minute drive from George airport and central to all tourist attractions. The perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route, it’s pristine beaches, indigenous forests, lakes, world-class golf courses, organic farmers markets, amazing water activities, hang-gliding, shark cage diving, hiking trails and fantastic birding opportunities all within a radius of 30 – 50 km.

The hotel is a birders paradise with over 280 species to be found here, of which the Knysna Loerie is a regular visitor.

As a precaution, we would like you to carry the following compulsory equipment during your run. It is for your own personal safety. Please adhere to the following:

Please ensure that you carry the compulsory equipment with you during the race as conditions can change quickly.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

Cancellation / Refund Policy

No substitutions will be accepted after 1 November 2022.
No refunds of your deposit paid or entry fees unless we have to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case your entry will be transferable.
Entries are not transferable.
NO EXCEPTIONS (INCLUDING MEDICAL).

This event will take place regardless of bad weather and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for reasons of Safety, Act of Nature or by any reason out of our control. In this event, entry fees are NOT refundable, but will be transferable to a next event.


